Hej Alle sammen,



Vi ved godt vi har været alt for dårlige til at lave vores Newsletters i anden halvdel af 2007, men vi har bare haft for meget at se til.



Dette ændre vi på !



Vi har en masse gode tiltag på vej som vi detaljeret vil informere om i begyndelsen af februar 2008. Men vi kan da løfte sløret for nogle af nyhederne.



· Vi vil have en person der tager sig af tilmeldinger, newsletters og vores hjemmeside så dette vil være langt mere systematiseret.

· Kommunikation vil primært være på Engelsk så vi ikke behøver at lave 3 forskellige version af alt.

· Vi overvejere at nedsætte det maksimale antal af deltagere på Knutstorp for at kunne beholde kvaliteten

· Vi planlægger at benytte os af en ny samarbejdspartner på vores ture til Sydeuropa som kun arbejder med fuld Open Pitlane.

· Vi håber på at kunne lave en tur ned og køre Stevio passet som er Europas højeste vej med vanvittige sving og fantastiske udsigt.

· Vi arbejder på at lave drift kurser for dem der ønsker at lære den noble kunst at kunne kører sidelæns og fortsat være i kontrol





Dette er blot nogle de nye ting vi arbejder på …



Og traditionen tro skal GRC jo være de første der kommer med en kalender for næste år, denne er dog kun foreløbig, men bliver fastlagt i begyndelsen af det nye år.



GRC’s dage på Knutstorp 2008

· Lørdagen 29 marts ( Ikke Bulderdag )

· Fredag 11 april ( Bulderdag )

· Onsdag 30 april ( Bulderdag )

· Onsdag 18 juni ( Bulderdag )

· Mandag 18 augusti ( Bulderdag )

Samtidig kommer vi til at være 2-3 dage på Gotland Ring og her må jeg altså bede Danskerne tage sig sammen og komme med der op .. det er en fantastisk bane .. og vejen er ikke så lang. Og lidt Nürburgring og Spa kommer vi jo heller ikke uden om.



Som noget nyt arbejder vi i disse dage på at lave en testdag for racerbiler i Sydeuropa for dem der vil have testet inden sæsonen og vil være sikre på vejret.. Mere om det snarest.

Update fra GRC

New GRC Dates for 2008!!!





Dear GRC members,

The new year has already started and we were busy planning, organizing and finding the best possibilities for the GRC season 2008. From today on you don’t have to wait any longer, as the dates for 2008 are online!

So grab your calendar and sign in to be one of the first ones on the track.

Trackdays 2008

2008-03-29 Knutstorp (open pitlane but anti-noise day!!! that means we are just allowed to drive with
cars up to 95 dB)
2008-04-11 Knutstorp (open pitlane, noisy cars allowed)
2008-04-26 Gotland (open pitlane, noisy cars allowed)
2008-06-13 Knutstorp (open pitlane, noisy cars allowed)
2008-08-18 Knutstorp (open pitlane, noisy cars allowed)
2008-10-05 Knutstorp (open pitlane, noisy cars allowed)

We hope that we have picked a nice program so far. But we don’t lie back and relax now. There are still some events in planning and as soon as we have all the information together you will hear about that as well.

You might have realized that there are some news on the homepage as well. GRC gets more popular and we get more members every month. Due to this situation we decided to have the homepage and newsletters from this year on in English.

On board is as well a new partner, who is Sarah. She will organize all the administration work for GRC and if you need any help or support, you are more than welcome to contact her. As Sarah is German all
the correspondance will be in English. If there should be some difficulties due to the language Erik and Jan are still there to help you.


First trackdays at Knutstorp

29th of March 2008 and 11th of April 2008 are two days close to each other which we have picked to start the season at our home track in Knutstorp. The daily program is planned like this:

08.30 - 08.45 Arrival at the track and registration
08.45 - 09.00 Briefing
09.00 - 10.00 Learn about the track - no max speed
10.00 - 12.30 Open pitlane
12.30 - 13.00 Lunch
13.00 - 16.00 Open pitlane
16.00 End og the day

Please be advised that the 29th of March is an anti-noise day. So the maximum audibility is 95 dB and there will be a staff from the track who checks on that. Another news is that we changed the prices for the trackdays to make it more fair, due to the different currencies. We charge for the whole day including lunch 1800 DKK or 2300 SEK (additional drivers will be charged with 500 DKK or 600 SEK). Another change is that we reduced the attending cars to 50 per day. That gives all of us more space on the track and makes it more exclusive.


Nürburgring exclusive days

We have just been offered some places at an exclusive event at the fantastic Nürburgring North Loop.

It will take place as a 2 days event with open pitlane from 09:00-17:00 both days and only 100 cars attending. So this has nothing to do with the normal tourist drive and both road and racecars are allowed on the track!!!

Dates are 26th and 27th of March 2008

Price 9000 DKK including 2 days tracktime for 1 car/driver and hotel in double room next to the Ring.
Extra driver 4500 DKK
Single room surcharge 600 DKK
Extra night 600 DKK

Since it is so close we need you to give us a call if you want to join this super event urgently. We have attended this event the last 3 years and we guaranty you will not be disappointed, this is the best way to get to know the track without motorbikes and busses. On top of that good atmosphere and very nice cars.


Trackday at Gotland Ring

We will arrange a new weekend trip to Gotland Ring, going with the ferry Friday the 25th of April and returning Sunday the 27th of April. The actual track day will be the 26th of April, but it will also be possible to drive on the track at the Sunday.

We are not yet ready with all the details, but the price will be the same as last year: 5200 SEK (add 1300 SEK for an additional driver/passenger) and this will include ferry tickets, two hotel nights and one track day with open pitlane and lunch.

We will soon announce all the details, but check your calendar for this event now at once! The Gotland Ring event always makes great fun! Both on and off track.

Europe Trips

In the coming weeks we will present our southern Europe trips online. We have just been offered some places at an exclusive event at the fantastic Nürburgring North Loop.
